Our mission is to provide quality customer experience  with low maintenance hair care and styles to Afro Canadian and mixed textures clients. In a way that will allow them to embrace and enjoy their natural curl pattern with little to no products.

Our vision is to see more people of culture take a better and healthier approach to their hair care. The World has evolved, and people with kinky, curly, and textured hair are embracing it all, no longer trying to fit into an old standard of beauty. We are here to assist clients with finding the next steps to a healthy and enjoyable hair journey.

Our History

I grew up with the weekly routine of all the girls getting our hair washed, bumped, press and braid for the busy week of life. When we moved to Canada with 3 girls in the house mom bought into “Their hair would be easier to style and manage if you Perm or Jheri Curl it” hooked line and sinker. The 1st time chemical was put in my head I remember crying and getting the “hush” it’s not that bad. As an obedient child for 20 years mom had the say of how my hair was cared for. At age 21 I took control of my hair care, I chose between extension braids or weaves, and quickly learned I’m allergic to whatever process or product was in both choices. I decided to start over by cutting off my hair and I enjoyed wearing a bald fade for 7 years. I now wear Sister Locks and am passionate about teaching others about Truly Natural Hair Care.
