It’s important for micro, sister and brother locks clients to stick to the schedule retights, this promotes clean and treated scalp which prompts healthy structured beautiful locks.

Clients with traditional dread locks are also encourage to keep regular retights to avoid dreads from connecting and locking together at the roots/base of the dreads.

Policy:

Retights for Sisterlocks  TM . Brotherlocks  TM , Microlocks and Braidlocks should be scheduled every 4 – 6 weeks. Your retight cost is based on all appointments booked within this timeline. For each week your retight extends beyond 6 weeks, an additional $15 will be applied to your retight cost. If there is maintenance to be done because of the extended retight period, an additional cost can be applied. Excessive maintenance will require a separate appointment

Retight sessions can take between 2.5 – 4 hours

A few things to be mindful of:

– Your locks should be fully separated from the roots up. Non-separated locks will be subject to an additional charge of $25.

– The duration of your retights can be based on such factors as non-separated locks, low or high number of locks, extensive chatting, and improper head positions to name a few.

– Non-separated locks lead to extended retight sessions and it also leads damages and weakens locks. Your locks should be separated regularly and not only when washed.

– Lock retight prices are based on lock types, the number of locks and for retight every 4 – 6 wks.
